Coming from a family of commercial shrimp and crab fisherman, I was born and raised in the Barataria/Lafitte area and have fished and hunted these marshes my entire life. We catch redfish, speckled trout, flounder, black drum, sheepshead, and bass. During your trip you may see wildlife such as pelicans, ducks, bald eagles, blue and white herons, nutria, raccoons, otters and alligators!
